The three trucks service the Illawarra district, South to Cooma and Bega, West to the Highlands and North to the edge of Sydney. Each truck representative captures the sales order on a Symbol SPT 1800. The sales order is then printed on the spot utilising a mobile printer. The drivers then return to base and transfer the orders via cradle back to SalesLink Server which auto exports the orders into Attaché. Currently the stock items are located by searching product numbers but a future enhancement will see the implementation of bar codes to allow quicker stock look up.

One of the reports from SalesLink Server is a summary of stock sold by sales person. This report can be for a range of days or a specific day. W.P.S. utilise this report to re-stock their trucks – the report consolidates the individual stock items sold and the truck is replenished on a daily basis. |
