Introduction
Glamuzina Corporation is a wholesaler and distributor of jewellery. They are based in Parnell, Auckland with a warehouse that holds over 15,000 separate stock items and sell to over 1000 customers.

Company Background

They have two reps on the road selling throughout New Zealand. Formed in 1990 by Graham Glamuzina, this family business is supported by Graham's son Phillip and their General Manager Suanne Garelja , Graham’s daughter.

They are New Zealand’s leading distributors of rings, studs and sleepers.


Business Operation
Sales orders were being taken out in the field – Graham would travel as far south as Invercargill, manually taking orders and then either faxing them back to Auckland or bringing them back when he returned from his travel. The orders were then being re-keyed into their Exchequer accounting system and picked for dispatch.

Glamuzina looked for an automated sales system and spent over $15,000 getting a system that couldn’t transfer to their core system, so they reverted back to their paper systems.

Then SalesLink Mobile met with Glamuzina. But, after their first endeavours, they were extremely gun shy and sceptical that the SalesLink Mobile solution could work.

Glamuzina can not believe how much easier their whole sales cycle now works. The two field sales representatives utilise the wireless network to transmit orders back to Auckland, throughout the day. Not only has this smoothed the workflow in the warehouse it’s also providing speed and accuracy in terms of getting the goods despatched to the customer. An Oamaru chemist was impressed that an order placed on the Tuesday was received by them on the Wednesday – less than 24 hours after placing their order.
